Meet Barafakas Winery at Nemea

Barafakas Estate is a family-owned winery producing 12 wine labels and approximately 300,000 bottles annually. Wine production comes from privately owned vineyards covering 180 acres, as well as from long-standing collaborations with local grape growers.

We are a family of vine growers passed down from generation to generation. As the new generation, we could not have chosen a different path vineyards are where we learned, played, and grew up. These vines nurtured our grandparents, our parents, ourselves, and now our children. They gave us the foundation to build our lives, set goals, and dream of the future.

All of this takes place in Nemea, the largest PDO wine zone in the Balkans and the leading region for red wine production in Greece.
